Grass Species

Nothing works quite like grass in an animal due to its unique fibre and digestive qualities.

It is unwise to just select varieties on the basis of an item such as an alleged high sugar content. Usually, a high sugar grass is also a lower protein grass and probably more crucial, is the digestibility of the neutral detergent fibre contained in the plant.

Oliver Seeds are involved in research work on grass fibre digestibility and this is starting to shed much light on what factors we should be looking for in a grass plant and a seeds mixture.
